VELLUTO CHAMPAGNE & WINE BAR is a sophisticated cocktail lounge in the heart of Potts Point Sydney. With a dark and sumptuous private club atmosphere of antique furniture, gilded mirrors, polished wood and subdued lighting, VELLUTO is found behind a lushly draped black velvet curtain.

The VELLUTO Champagne cellar is extensive and well stocked, with luxury vintages for celebrating life’s victories and very good champagnes offered by the glass.

The VELLUTO Wine list is carefully chosen and ever changing, as we source limited edition pressings from the best boutique wineries around the globe.

With a mission to provide a haven of civilised and sophisticated imbibing for the  discerning residents of Potts Point, VELLUTO naturally offers a fine array of cocktails, created by our resident mixologists, who take their work very seriously.

The VELLUTO martini and cocktail menus reference the classics of the 30s and the frothy fruity 80s, and also offer a ‘behind the velvet curtain’ temptation of evolving bespoke cocktail creations served in vintage crystal coupes. By popular demand, we humbly promise to never leave the white chocolate martini off the menu!
